What are Chamber Member to Member discounts?
A Chamber Member to Member discount is an exclusive discount offer from Chamber Businesses and Organizations that extend to all active Chamber members.
Who is considered an active Chamber Member?
All employees and members of businesses and organizations with a current Ottumwa Area Chamber of Commerce membership are considered to be active members. Chamber members can be verified through work I.D badges or current pay stubs. A list of current Chamber businesses and organizations is listed on the Chamber website.
Where is the list of the Chamber Member to Member discount offers maintained?
Active Chamber Businesses and Organizations that want to offer a Chamber Member to Member discount incentive to other Chamber Members can do so by sending the discount offer details to the Chamber office. You can call the Chamber office at (641) 682-3465 or send offer details to info@ottumwaiowa.com. If your offer involves a written offer or coupon you may have those delivered to the chamber office. A list of all available member to member discounts and coupons will be available at the Chamber office.
Member to Member discount participation will be noted with an asterisk located by the business listing in the Chamber Directory and on the Chamber Website listing.
If I am a Business or Organization offering a Member to Member discount, how do I verify the consumer is qualified as a Chamber Member to receive the discount?
To verify that the business or organization membership is current you may verify the list of active Chamber Members online or call the Chamber office for verification. Ask for employee identification or a current pay - stub to verify membership status under the business or organization.
